Healthengine has integrated into Apple Maps to help bring more visibility to healthcare practices like yours and provide appointment booking access via the Maps app. Our leading directory of healthcare practices with additional content is now featured on Maps for patients with iOS devices. For practices with Patient Connect, or GP Complete, patients can now schedule an appointment with you, direct from the app through a link to your practice profile on the Healthengine website or app. It’s another benefit of being part of Patient Connect or GP Complete.
To check out your listing, open up the Maps app and search for your practice name. In addition to booking an appointment through the schedule button, patients can call you direct from the app or visit your website.
On 20th January, news.com.au, also reported on a raft of new features to Apple Maps that will make it easier and safer for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to get around. These features and more are an upgrade to the Apple Maps that were announced in December 2021. Australia was the fourth country to receive the update, available on iPhone and iPads.
