4 Simple Steps To Online Prescriptions Success

Designed to simplify repeat prescriptions, patients will love the convenience of requesting their prescription online while your front-desk team and practitioners will have more time for other tasks.

Step 1: Patient submits request

Existing patients can submit an online repeats request via your website or Healthengine Profile.

Step 2: GP reviews request

GPs decide to approve or reject each request at their discretion. We then notify patients via SMS on your behalf.

Step 3: Patient receives script

If approved, patients receive the script via the selected delivery option. Want to send them an important message? Simply put it in the notes when you action the request and we’ll pull it into the SMS notification.

Step 4: Practice gets paid

We process payments for approved script requests through our secure payment gateway on a monthly basis.

Can GPs reject a script request?

Yes. Doctors know their patients best. We will provide the necessary information to help practitioners decide if they can safely prescribe medication without an in-person consult.

Do all the practitioners at our practice need to use Scripts?

Your GPs can choose to opt in to Healthengine Scripts. Only participating doctors will be visible patients when requesting a repeat script online.

How much does Scripts cost?

Scripts is available within our GP Complete subscription.

We only process payments for successful script requests. It’s up to you how much to charge your patients for an online script request – we take a flat $2 service fee from patients to cover our administration costs (such as transaction and SMS fees). For example, if you set the total price as $20, you will receive $18 while Healthengine will receive $2.

How does billing work?

How often can you say a product just deposits money into your account? Scripts does just that. On a monthly basis we’ll collect the payments and transfer it to your bank account minus the patient’s $2 service fee. 

How does it integrate with my Practice Management Software?

Scripts hooks directly into selected Practice Management Software. This means participating doctors can be notified about script requests in real time via messages, plus have the option to link the script request to the patient file.
