Improving patient access to healthcare is at the heart of what Healthengine strives to do. Working alongside Australia’s leading healthcare providers is key to achieving this goal. Our referral program is described in the following Q&A, which (if you make a referral to us) sets out the terms of the agreement between us. If you choose to participate in this program you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Healthengine Partner Referral Program – Terms and Conditions

How does it work?

If you would like to refer a practice that would benefit from Healthengine’s products we would appreciate an introduction. To join the referral program please register here.

What happens next?

Upon submitting your completed registration you will have access to our ‘submit a referral form’ (which you will also receive via email) allowing you to submit the contact details of practices who have an interest in our solutions. Upon receiving your referral our consultants will get in touch with the practice to discuss their needs.

What is offered for valid referrals?

You will receive a $150 Wish gift card for each valid referral.

What is a valid referral?

We define a valid referral as a contact who meets the below conditions:

. a contact who has been introduced to Healthengine by a registered advocate of the Healthengine referral program.

. a contact who doesn’t exist in our CRM database yet or, if exists, has never interacted with communication sent by or sales person from Healthengine, as per the records in our CRM system.

. the contact details that you provide us are correct, meaning we are able to reach them via email or phone.

We will let you know within 3 business days after submitting a referral whether your referral is valid or not.

When and how will I get paid?

Healthengine will send you a $150 Wish gift card

for each valid referral within 30 days of your referral submission, once validated. You will receive it via the address you provide.

What happens to my referrals once I submit their contact details via the ‘submit a referral form’?

Upon receiving the completed form, Healthengine will send the practice an email letting them know that we will soon be getting in touch with them. The email will give you all the credit for the introduction.

Are there any further terms?

Yes, as follows:

  1. In making any referral to us, you must comply with all relevant laws, and ensure that you have all rights and consents necessary to provide us with the customer’s details and for us to contact them, including the Privacy Act (1988) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
  2. You must not:
    1. purport to make any representations on Healthengine’s behalf; or
    2. represent that you are Healthengine’s agent or have any ability to bind Healthengine.
  3. Healthengine remains free at all times to market and promote Healthengine’s services in its own right or through third parties including other referrers. If Healthengine receives multiple referrals for the same practice, then a commission will only be payable if your referral is the first in time.
  4. Healthengine is not required to contact any valid referral/practice that you refer. For example, Healthengine may decline to do business with a practice if they do not agree to Healthengine’s standard terms and fees, do not meet Healthengine’s credit requirements, or other circumstances exist which mean Healthengine does not wish to accept them as a potential customer.
  5. Any revenue you may become entitled to is a single, lump sum payment. No further revenue is payable for the same customer in any circumstances.
  6. You are not granted any rights in relation to Healthengine’s trademarks, and you must not use, copy or otherwise deal in Healthengine’s trademarks.
  7. As far as the law permits, Healthengine’s maximum aggregate liability to you for all causes of action arising under or in relation to the referral program or these terms in any calendar year, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, is limited to the total amount of the commission paid and payable to you during that calendar year.
  8. The parties do not intend to create an agency, partnership or joint venture between them. Neither party has the right to bind the other party or to incur any obligation or liability on behalf of the other party.
  9. These terms are the entire agreement between the parties regarding our referral program and supersede all previous agreements or terms.
